Perception is high on the lists of energy buzzing around lately and this would fit with the third eye (firstly) and (backed up by) the crown. Every chakra is like pass the parcel, you don't know until you rip the paper off whether you got a prize or a dare.
If either of those chakras is being fuelled by baggage or slightly warped energy then our perception is guaranteed to be slightly squiffy. But how the devil do you know when your closer to unbalanced territory or balanced chakras. This is the big money question and the answer will be different for all of us. I live breath and fart the chakras so no need to guess as to what stands a good chance of slapping me back to balanced. So much of what we are told by the different strains of the "spiritual world" and the key to inner peace are the same thing said in a different way and it really depends on where we are within ourselves as to which wording will make the most sense to us.
Now I am a pick and mixer by nature so have had fun with a lot of the different ways of saying the same thing.
Take the title of this blog, those four words have a multitude of meanings depending on the reader.
The other night while pondering the current energy and on the hunt for some comical inspiration in google images I came across this one about media and it made me smile cos that's how we can often misunderstand what we are seeing.Depending on what filter we have on our lens depends on how we see things. Or how something is filtered before its passed on to us.
One of my biggest lessons was with my Reiki master, she spoke of positive energy and negative, always claiming the good stuff came from her and the rest of it came from others LOL she guarded her knowledge and drip fed us snippets and until we accepted her view she was not keen to past on the next snippet of wisdom. Or the flip side is she spoke in tongues and said things in such a way they made no sense. LOL that's an open crown and a need to over intellectualise, her third eye was a swinger and she went back and forth from paranoid (open) and narrowed view (blocked). My approach to life and Reiki shook a few of her chakras and she tried hard to get me to conform to her perception, but I have to test it and then decide whether I believe it or not. You could say I am not good at taking things at face value, I need to sniff, push and test before I make up my mind to believe it or not. As you can imagine I am a thorn in the side of indoctrinators and the indoctrinated.
Anyway back to the Master, who by the way was a lovely and engaging lady with the best of intentions but she made the mistake most of us make and forgot to implement her beliefs. More keen to re-balance others than accept that the only way to do that is work as much on ourselves as we think others should work on themselves.
An external irritation is always a clue to an inner irritation. Much easier and less time consuming to look in at that point and check that I am tickety boo before I dare to insist its others acting in an unbalanced way. My masters vision worked one way, she could clearly see her view but refused to look at another. I enjoyed our time together because her refusal made it easier for me to question it. I was dragged up an Irish catholic, it made me allergic to indoctrination, blind faith is not my bag. I have to know why I should believe it before I believe it, and the only way is to test it myself.
All this analysing the chakras and how they work, has taught me how to spot them and how to get a grip when its my own chakras spitting their dummy out.
I have noticed a need/wish to be "self indulgent" in day to day things. That tells me there is a potential for change in my solar plexus. I have also found myself questioning myself and others, a clear sign that there is a little shake up going on in the third eye. My heart seems to be coming along for the ride and strangely it was noticing it in someone else that got me to look in at my heart and old wounds and unhelpful beliefs seem to have represented themselves, giving me a chance to put them to bed for good.
Over the last few months a few layers of "pass the parcel" have been tore off, there has been prizes and dares and the funny thing is the dares were as rewarding as the alleged prizes. All it took was for me to dare to do something different, see something different but more importantly FEEL something different. Watching others with their chakras squiffy and then seeing my own chakras in the same pattern has been humbling and funny in equal measures. Seeing how convinced they were that they were right while clearly their actions, words and assumptions were ever so slightly off, helped me to pay attention to when I felt 100% right and wanted to make the other 100% wrong. It cant be done cos every time on an energy/chakra level it comes back to the 50/50 rule.
I could go on the hunt to see how many different versions of the same message I could find, but its late and my baby's and work need me to get up early so if your curious do your own hunt.
Sometimes people are reflecting our own beliefs back at us, possibly cos the universe, great mother/father or God want us to learn, grow, expand. And sometimes we need to learn a better way to deal with an unsettling external energy, a way to remain in the eye of the storm without adding to the energy or being swamped by it. When we know whats going on in our internal world there is a better chance of us perceiving things as they are in our external world.
