CHORDS
In psychic lingo, we call other people's requests for attention 'cords.' The clairvoyant eye can perceive lines of energy, resembling cords, entering into the charkas and connecting you with another person. Again, it is not necessary to actually see the cords: You can simply know that they're there just as effectively. Cords are passed back and forth between people's charkas constantly, without the people being aware of it. In the next exercise we will show you how to locate and remove your cords, which are usually unnecessary clutter you carry around. If you're chock foil of cords, your likely to be operating partially on other peoples energy rather than on your own. It is a mistake, however, to regard "being corded" by someone as an imposition, or as something bad that is being done to you. In fact, you cannot receive another person's cord unless you're willing to do so. No one can do anything to you psychically, it always takes two to tango. Chords have different meanings and different effects in different charkas:
FIRST CHAKRA. This is the survival center. A cord into this center means "I want you to help me survive." The first can be an unsavoury place to find a cord, unless two people have a clear agreement along survival lines. For example, a child would naturally place such a cord into its parents, or into other adult's central to its life. Or, if you have a friend who is sick or hurt, and you are taking care of him, you may have a clear understanding between you that for a certain amount of time you wish to help him survive. However, if you find a friend's or lovers cord planted in your first carrying a covert "I need you" message, you may wish to remove the cord and re-examine the nature of your relationship. Remember, no one can put a cord in you unless you are willing to receive it.
SECOND CHAKRA. This is the chakra of sexuality and emotion. A cord in the second means either "I am interested in you sexually" or "Give me your emotional support, pay attention to my emotions." You may or may not wish to remove a sex cord, according to weather or not you're enjoying it. An emotion cord is better of removed from your chakra because it is a potential energy drain for you and is often accompanied by a "needy" vibration. It is easier ti respond to someone's emotional needs from your heart chakra than from your second.
THIRD CHAKRA. This is the energy center. A cord here means, "1 want some of your energy, my own is not enough," or "I'd rather operate on your energy than be responsible for running on my own." Obviously, a cord in the third can sap you of your own energy, and it would serve you to remove it. A strong cord in this center can cause a tight sensation in your stomach.
FOURTH CHAKRA. This is the centre of love and affinity. A cord in the fourth usually means "I love you," or "I like you." You may wish to remove cords in the fourth, if only for the sake of being the only person with energy in your body; but in general, these cords are not as draining as others.
FIFTH CHAKRA. This is the communications center. A cord here means "I want to communicate with you," and often, "I want to talk to you." A large cord here in the fifth can cause you to have an ache in your throat.
SIXTH CHAKRA. This is the clairvoyant center. A cord in the sixth means that someone is "in your head" - that he is thinking of you intensely, or that he wonders what you're thinking about^ or perhaps what you think of him. These cords can cause a headache.
SEVENTH CHAKRA. This is the chakra of knowingness and intuition. It is another unsavoury location for a cord because its message is "I want to control you," or perhaps, " I want you to follow my teachings." A number of teachers in the psychic, mystic, and consciousness fields set temporary cords in the seventh charkas of their students or disciples to facilitate learning.
HAND CHAKRAS. The hands are the seats of creative energy, and a cord here may mean either "Do it my way," or "Do it for Me." Since creativity is a for of self-expression, a cord in the hand can affect the ways in which you actualise virtually anything you do, from cooking to playing tennis to writing a book.
FEET CHAKRA The feet are your connection with the earth, and a cord in your feet dislocates your grounding and may make you feel vague and spaced out or even "swept off your feet."
The primary advantage to knowing about cords and knowing how to remove them is that you are a cleaner, freer agent when running your own body on your own steam
PULLING CORDS
How do you know someone has corded you? Take a look at your aura and your charkas. If there are cords- and there probably are, to a greater or lesser extent- you'll see them. What do you do if you find cords in your charkas? Pull them out. Firstly you need to be comfortable and relaxed, close your eyes and imagine your aura, visualize that you are sweeping the debris and negative energy from your aura. When you feel that your aura is clear, and the energy is flowing well, focus your attention on your feet chakras, see if you can see, visualize, sense, or feel any cords there, if not look again. If you find cords imagine your hands going into your aura, into the chakra, and pulling them out. A cord can be big or small, thick, wispy, easy or difficult to remove. Be gentlet Most cords will slide right out if you want them to, and there is no point tearing a hole in your chakra. If some cords seem stubborn, ask the cord who owns it, or follow it out from your aura until you see, visualize, sense, or feel the person who threw it at you. This person may be a close friend or spouse; it may be a boss or an employee; in fact it could be anyone, including someone who's been dead for years. Just take a look and assume that whomever it is who shows up in your imagination is the right person. If more than one person shows up, you're probably working on two cords at once. Put either on "hold" until you've handled the other. When you've traced the cord back to its owner, thank him for his interest in you and explain that you do not want to be corded; if he wants to relate to you, tell him to do so on a conscious, physical plane instead of on the astral. Then go back to your chakra and pull the cord. If it will not come out, no matter what you do, perhaps you don't really want to remove it. It is all right to leave the cord in, but be aware that you have made this choice. If you remove one that you really want, it will come back. Your cord-communication system already exists. Continue to do the same in all your chakras until all the cords you wish to remove are gone. Now visualize an enormous tap of crystal-clear water washing out your energy system, pouring into your seventh chakra, and flowing down through all your chakras (include hands and feet) and then flush the water down your grounding cord to the center of the earth, where it will neutralize.
Now visualize a clear, clean, neutral, light golden energy washing through your energy system and over your entire body. Starting from your head and working down to your feet, imagine your hands smoothing out your aura. When you are ready, get up and do something real, wash your face or have a drink, be nice to yourself for the rest of the day.
